Dr. Adamo is an integrative medical physician who specializes in the field of cancer and has been in practice for almost 15 years. As an integrative provider, her focus is to incorporate safe effective, evidence-based, natural therapies into her patients' care plans.
Dr. Adamo has a Bachelor's of Science in Business Administration and Finance from Towson University, a Master's of Science in Traditional Oriental Medicine from the Pacific College of Oriental Medicine, and a Doctorate of Science in Integrative Medicine from the Pacific College of Health Sciences. Her office is located inside California Cancer Associates for Research and Excellence (cCARE), an out-patient cancer center in San Diego, CA. She is a former co-owner and director of the San Diego Center for Integrative Oncology.
In addition to being a clinician, Dr. Adamo enjoys teaching. She's taught numerous classes on integrative medicine and cancer. She's taught in the nursing program at California State University San Marcos. She's taught various continuing education classes for other healthcare professionals. She was also a key speaker at the San Diego 10th Annual Primary Care & Behavioral Health Summit in 2019.
OFFICE MANAGER
JoAnn has worked in administrative roles for over 18 years. She is passionate about health and well-being. In her free time, she has studied acupressure, integrative bodywork, reiki, herbalism, and health coaching.
When she is not working or studying, she enjoys reading health-related books or magazines, riding her bike to the beach for a walk, playing table tennis, and visiting with family.
CLINICAL ASSISTANT
Alyssa is from Greenville, North Carolina. She graduated from Pitt Community College with an Associate's of Science in Criminal Justice Technology and General Education. She earned her Bachelors of Science in Psychology with an emphasis in Forensic Science from Grand Canyon University and will be starting a Master's program in Forensic Science in spring of 2024.
For fun she enjoys visiting new beaches and having new experiences. She also enjoys taking walks with her husband and their three dogs, Hades, Junji, and Arya. Her other hobbies include reading, video games, and watching movies.
CLINICAL ASSISTANT
Tatyana is a clinical medical assistant and has worked as a caregiver for 4 years. She is a native San Diegan and graduated from a CMA program at U.S. Colleges of Health and Human Services. She is interested in helping others improve their health and well-being.
For fun, Tatyana enjoys visiting the beach, traveling, and expressing her creativity through interior design.
CLINICAL ASSISTANT
Sabrina is a certified nurse assistant and phlebotomist. She's worked in the field of medicine for 6 years and has always had a special interest in holistic health. Sabrina is currently working on her biology degree. Besides going to school and working at East West Integrative Oncology, she works at a local winery.
When Sabrina is not working, she can be found walking through street markets with friends or binge watching Netflix with her family and cat, Buttons.
