
Dr. Adamo is an integrative oncology specialist and has been in clinical practice for over 16 years. As an integrative provider, her focus is to incorporate safe, effective, evidence-based, natural therapies into her patients' care plans. Besides numerous years of clinical experience, she has had extensive training at the top cancer hospitals in the US, including MD Anderson, Memorial Sloan Kettering, and Dana Farber.
Dr. Adamo has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Finance from Towson University, a Master of Science in Traditional Oriental Medicine from the Pacific College of Oriental Medicine, and a Doctorate of Science in Integrative Medicine from the Pacific College of Health Sciences. Her office is located inside California Cancer Associates for Research and Excellence (cCARE), an outpatient cancer center in San Diego, CA. She is a former co-owner and director of the San Diego Center for Integrative Oncology.
In addition to being a clinician, Dr. Adamo enjoys teaching. She's taught numerous classes on integrative medicine and cancer. She's taught in the nursing program at California State University San Marcos, as well as various continuing education classes for other healthcare professionals. She was a key speaker at the San Diego 10th Annual Primary Care & Behavioral Health Summit in 2019.

JoAnn has worked in administrative roles for over 22 years. She is passionate about health and well-being. In her free time, she has studied acupressure, integrative bodywork, reiki, herbalism, and health coaching.
When she is not working or studying, she enjoys reading health-related books or magazines, riding her bike to the beach for a walk, playing table tennis, and visiting with family.

Alyssa is from Greenville, North Carolina. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology with an emphasis in Forensic Psychology from Grand Canyon University and later completed a Master of Science in Psychology with an emphasis in Forensic Psychology. She is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling.
Alyssa is a proud mother of two children, Raven and Riley, and places a strong value on spending quality time with her family. In her free time, she enjoys going on walks and visiting the park with her children and husband, as well as reading, playing video games, and watching movies.

Sophia began her education in the medical field in 2024 at Vista Adult School. She has earned certifications in Healthcare Essentials, Paperless Medical Records, Medical Terminology, and Patient Service Representative, and is soon to complete her certification for Medical Assisting.
While she is not working or studying for school, she enjoys doing yoga, listening to music, and spending time with her cat Twyla.
